Wow, what an awesome fun filled time we had on our campus
during IMPACK 2K!We were able to
give out 850 packs filled w/ school supplies, fed over 2000 people, provide
live music, and the best of all, YOU were able to love on our community and
effect eternity.Through this one
event, 68 people made a life decision to follow Christ or make a new dedication
to Christ.Through our prayer
tent, we were able to pray for marriages, physical healing, kids and the school
year.
People, this is what it is all about!When “we” the “church” can go out of our four walls, out of our comfort zone, our personal box and engage our community w/ the Gospel and love.Thank You all who where involved and helped make this event a success!
It is easy for us as Christians to sit back and complain about our cities, our schools, the drugs, the split marriages, the alcohol, our jobs, our neighborhoods-and not do anything about it.But we will NOT take that approach, we will NOT sit on the sidelines, we will NOT let the enemy steal what is ours-but instead-WE WILL be here for our schools, WE WILL be here for the addicts, WE will ask the coach to put us in the game, WE WILL be here for our children, WE WILL be here for our neighbors, and WE WILL be here for our community!

This month I challenge you to pray a prayer that was prayed some 400 years ago by Sir Francis Drake: “Disturb us, Lord, when we are too well pleased with ourselves. When our dreams have come true because we dreamed too little. When we arrive safely because we have sailed too close to the shore. Disturb us, Lord.” God disturb us in the best part of the way.I believe when we pray and invite God in this way, we open every part of ourselves to God.We give him total authority to rock our world.We are asking Him to give us the hunger that He had for outsiders.I dont want to be one who goes through life believing God exists, but live life as He does not.I dont want to just go through the motions, where my lips stay close to God, but my heart drifts away from Him.It is all abut Him, not us. Church, I dare you to pray this way.You want to see your city changed, your work environment changed, your family changed, addictions broken, then I dare you to agree w/ me and ask God to DISTURB US.More than anything, I want to come to the end of my life and know that I didn't play it safe, but went all out for the sake of Jesus name! Will you join me?
