Go Big or Go Home!

Last night we sang about the Blood of Jesus. I think when I first heard songs like this, it was kind of weird to comprehend. People happily singing about blood. I remember thinking, what’s up w/ that? Now that I know what its about and He died for my sins, it is easy to sing about the Blood. 

During our prayer time last night, I challenged people to pray big. To pray for those things that seem to big for us to even imagine. His blood will reach and cover anything we could ask or imagine. Check out Eph 3:20- God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us. Remember that old saying, Go Big or Go Home.  Those words have been on my mind for the last few days.

I am tired of problems and circumstances always happening to my family members & friends, and them not even recognizing what it is. Sometimes they dont even want to know or dont understand yet. But that is why we are in their lives- To pray for them.

Will you pray w/ me? Pray for your friends and family members? I am praying BIG TIME for marriages and addictions. This is a huge, gigantic need. If you are reading this, I am sure you can think of someone w/ one or both of the above stated issues. THEY NEED YOUR PRAYERS!

My Wife Rocks!

I am so proud of my lovely wife, Renee! About couple months ago she started looking for some music to go along w/ the new youth groups name- Awaken.  She looked high and low, but to no avail.  So what does any great singer/songwriter do?  Yep, thats right, she started to write the song herself.

So after a few weeks of plucking away at the piano, viola, the song Awake was birthed.  God has blessed her w/ a golden voice and song writing skills to match! I am such a lucky man! I am so proud of her.
