Jay and I do not believe that it is a place to eat at for Christians! We would pray that the one in Temecula (By us) would go out of business every time we drove by. Guess what? It is no longer there!!!
Do not give the devil an opportunity to work. Ephesians 4:27

I disagree with their path of advertisement and I have never eaten there.. I have no desire to. In my opinion, the problem lies in that its obvious people there need Jesus but Christians are so upset with the company's image that we shun them and run away... if someone needs Jesus, who is to say we as Christians can't share Him with them? Maybe it takes a God fearing woman to go in and tell one Hooters waitress about Jesus (and not show judgement.. after all judgement is just as much a sin as any other).. or maybe it takes a God fearing man, strong enough to resist lust, to show these women who work there what being a CHristian is all about.
If every Christian ran away from places likes Hooters, not a soul would be saved... Jesus ate with tax collectors and sinners.. and I am sure it made a difference in eternity for them.
I say build yourself up in God and go into ALL the world.. ALL includes Hooters. Go for the right reasons.. show the LOVE OF GOD to the employees there.

If you desire for Hooters to go out of business, stop judging and start loving.. I can guarantee that if those women discover Jesus, they'll quit their job. Hooters can't stay in business if they have no employees... the love of God is a chain reaction... one person discovers it and shares it with their friend and so on... it only takes one person to start...

Again, I disagree with their path of advertisement and I don't have a desire to eat there BUT maybe one day.. maybe just one day I will go in to show a young girl that not all Christians are hypocritical and judgmental.

Michelle - I agree.. don't give the devil an opportunity to work... but there comes a point where we need to give God an opportunity to work... He can't do that if we run away from opportunities to show the world the Jesus in us.

Once a group of us went to hooters and gave flowers to all the women that were working there.

They get treated like objects 8 hours a day with stupid guys making jackass comments and they need to know they're loved.

Avoiding it like the plague and wishing ill things for them isn't anything close to what Jesus would do, I think.

Guys, take your wife in there and I promise it will be a lot more difficult to stare. And together you can show a little love to someone.

Anne Jackson- Nice of you to stop by. I read your blogs daily. I hope things are well.

That is awesome what you guys did w/ the flowers!

    Thanks for the comments!
